United Healthcare Design Principles

As a Senior Design Leader I hosted a leadership workshop with a cross-functional team to develop Design Principles for a 155+ person Design Team.

We needed consistency and confidence in the way design decisions are made across disparate design and product teams. We wanted to reduce unneeded and lengthy trade-off conversations with product, business and technology teams.

My goal was to get ideas and then narrow them down to provide guidance so that decisions from the design team will be created on the same overarching principles.
